COVID-19 Office Policies and Procedures
Appointments will be managed to allow for physical distancing between patients.
We will communicate with you before your appointment to ask some screening questions. You will be asked the same questions again when you arrive for your appointment.
When you arrive for your appointment, please wait in your car and call our office at (304) 554-0504 to let us know you have arrived.
Please come to the appointment alone. A parent/guardian of pediatric patients will be allowed as well as a caregiver of patients who require one.
Please DO NOT come to our office if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, including fever, shortness of breath or other respiratory symptoms.
We ask that all patients and accompanying guardians/caregivers wear face coverings during the appointment. If you do not have one, a mask will be provided.
Upon arrival, you will be immediately directed to the restroom to wash your hands or we will provide you with hand sanitizer (whichever you prefer) and your temperature will be taken. If your temperature is at or above 100 degrees Fahrenheit, you will be required to reschedule your appointment.
All doctors and staff will be wearing the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), including face masks and gloves throughout. We have installed physical barriers (plexiglass dividers/sneeze guards) in every assessment room as well due to the close proximity (<6 feet) of patients and staff in this setting.
We are also enhancing the frequency and scope of our disinfecting and sanitizing procedures to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
Upon completion of the initial patient interview, any accompanying guardian/caregiver will be asked to return to their cars to complete more in-depth patient histories and questionnaires and to wait for the patient to complete the assessment. He/she will be contacted when the patient is ready.
