About Me

Dr. Wilson received her Bachelor's degree in Psychobiology from the Wellesley College (1982). She completed her pre-doctoral internship in Clinical Psychology at Ann Arbor VA Medical Center in 1992 and earned her Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Wayne State University in 1993. Dr. Wilson is a licensed clinical psychologist with post-doctoral specialty training in Clinical Neuropsychology from University of Michigan Hospitals. She served as a Faculty Neuropsychologist at WVU School of Medicine for over 25 years providing comprehensive neuropsychological services to adolescents and adults as well as mentoring countless pre-doctoral clinical psychology interns and post-doctoral residents in clinical neuropsychology. Over the years, she has held leadership roles for women in psychology through the APA and served as a site reviewer for the APA Committee on Accreditation. Dr. Wilson has extensive experience conducting clinical research, especially related to diverisity and racial and socioeconomic mental health care disparities. She has published numerous peer-reviewed abstracts, papers and book chapters. She has served as a reviewer and consulting editor for professional journals as well. Dr. Wilson is an active member of the APA and the WVU Provost Diversity Committee.
